Easter Photo Contest – Official Rules & Regulations

1. Sponsor
The Easter Photo Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Northgate Shopping Centre (the “Sponsor”).

2. Contest Period
The Contest begins on March 30, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. (ET) and ends on April 6, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (ET) (the “Contest Period”). All entries must be received within the Contest Period to be eligible.

3. Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of Ontario who are the age of majority (18 years or older) at the time of entry.

Employees, representatives, and agents of the Sponsor, its affiliates, tenants, advertising and promotional agencies, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to enter.

4. No Purchase Necessary
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

5. How to Enter
To enter the Contest:

- Visit Northgate Shopping Centre and take a photo with the Easter display;
- Follow @northgateshopping on Facebook;
- Upload your photo by commenting on the official contest post via the QR code provided.

Limit of one (1) entry per person during the Contest Period. Entries must comply with all platform rules and must not contain inappropriate, offensive, or infringing content, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.

6. Prize
There is one (1) prize available to be won:
- One (1) Easter Prize Basket with an approximate retail value of $145 CAD.

The prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-transferable, non-refundable, and has no cash surrender value. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize, in whole or in part, with a prize of equal or greater value.

7. Odds of Winning
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

8. Winner Selection & Notification
One (1) eligible entrant will be selected by random draw on April 7, 2026 in Ontario.

The selected entrant will be contacted via the Northgate Shopping Centre Facebook page (@northgateshopping). If the selected entrant cannot be contacted, fails to respond within forty-eight (48) hours, or is found to be ineligible, another entrant may be selected.

9. Skill-Testing Question Requirement
In accordance with Canadian law, the selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question, without assistance, in order to be declared the winner.

10. Prize Claim Conditions
Before being confirmed as the winner, the selected entrant may be required to sign and return a declaration and release form confirming:

- Compliance with these Rules;
- Acceptance of the prize as awarded;
- Release of the Sponsor and its affiliates from any liability related to the Contest or prize.

Failure to comply within the specified timeframe may result in disqualification.

11. Publicity Release
By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the use of their name, photo, and submitted content by the Sponsor for promotional and advertising purposes in any media, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

12. Limitation of Liability
The Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, illegible, or misdirected entries, or for any technical issues, including but not limited to website, platform, or network failures.

13. Right to Modify or Terminate
The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest, in whole or in part, at any time, without notice, if any factor interferes with its proper conduct.

14. Compliance with Laws
The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

15. Privacy
Any personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Contest and in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation. By entering, entrants consent to such collection, use, and disclosure.

16. Social Media Disclaimer
This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. By participating, entrants release Facebook from all liability related to the Contest.
