📅 Save the Date: Fall Clothing Swap

We are excited to announce our next FREE Clothing Swap! Just as the season is changing, this is your chance to refresh your closet with up to 10 new to you fall/winter items.

Our Fall Clothing Swap will be hosted on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Bay Centre. Must be 19+.

Important dates to keep in mind:

• Clothing Swap Registration: Thursday, September 17, 2026
  Registration will open at 10 am PT at thebaycentre.ca
• Clothing In-take: September 17, 2026 to September 27, 2026
• Clothing Swap: Saturday, October 3, 2026

How it works

• Secure your 30-minute Clothing Swap appointment at thebaycentre.ca. Bring your friends! Group appointments of up to 4 people welcome.
• Drop off your clothing donations between September 17, 2026 and September 27, 2026 at Guest Services located on the lower level of the Bay Centre during the hours of 10 am and 6 pm.
• Do Bring: 10 to 30 pre-owned or “new with tag” items of women’s/men’s fall/winter clothing you no longer wear in good clean condition. Please note, jewellery and scarf donations will not be included in your item count.
• Don’t bring: More than 30 items, stained, items with pet hair, ripped or damaged clothing. For hygiene reasons, earrings, hosiery, undergarments, swimwear, sleepwear and socks will not be accepted. Shoes will not be accepted. We will not be accepting items of clothing from Temu or SHEIN.
• Find up to 10 new to you items during your pre-booked appointment at the Clothing Swap on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
• Snap a pic of your clothing finds and tag @thebaycentre & @used.ca in your pics.
• Any unclaimed items will be donated to Victoria Women in Need Community Cooperative.

‍About the Event

This collaboration between the Bay Centre and Used.ca was created in 2020 as an avenue to give back to our community while keeping sustainability in mind.

From the first clothing swap in September 2020 to date, over 23,700 lbs. of clothing items have been given a new purpose! All remaining items from the clothing swaps are donated to a local charity.
